Most of us have cousins, second cousins, and so on, and as your family tree grows it can become increasingly complicated to keep track of your ancestry.
Now imagine keeping track of the familial connections in Hollywood. Thanks to the use of stage names, there are plenty of celebrities you didn’t know were actually related.
Lily Allen and Alfie Allen
British singer Lily Allen, most famous for her song ‘Smile’, is the older sister of Game of Thrones star Alfie Allen.
Melissa McCarthy and Jenny McCarthy
Jenny starred in a short-lived sitcom, The Jenny McCarthy Show, and gave her cousin Melissa a few cameos on the show. Melissa, now famous for her roles in hit comedies such as Bridesmaids, first gained worldwide recognition for her role on Gilmore Girls.
Liev Schreiber and Pablo Schreiber
Liev and Pablo are half-brothers, sharing the same father. You may recognise Pablo from Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black, while Liev is known for several roles in Hollywood films such as X-Men Origins: Wolverine; Taking Woodstock; and Salt.
